GPS and Wireless Technologies

GPS-Practice-and-Fun : GPS and Wireless News Home : Links

So much information, only one click away

We realized that GPS is not a stand-alone technology. With the introduction of cell phones with integrated GPS receivers, it became clear that these two technologies go perfectly together. In February 2004 we started gathering news extracts for the page that we called "GPS/GSM News".

But even this approach is too narrow. There are so many wireless technologies that enhance or even replace GPS. From November 2004 we also try to follow the news for technologies like, WiFi, UWB, Flash-OFDM, WiMAX, ZigBee, RFID, NFC, Assisted GPS, etc. This is quite an undertaking, but it makes our site a great source of information.

Here are the links to all this information

More than only news extracts

The long list of news extracts is a bit overwhelming, so we decided to start this Blog, where we can treat in more depth the technologies behind the news and tell about interesting cases, products and programs.
