July 15, 2007 18:11 - GPS-guided tour for Seville

As an offshoot of CityShow NYC there is now a GPS-guided tour for the city of Seville (Sevilla in Spanish) in the South-West of Spain.

This could not be any simpler

You can rent a dedicated PDA with a SD-card GPS receiver on top, in hotels and rental points. Worn with a neck strap the PDA screen shows a map of the historical center and your actual location in it.

As the system knows at all times were you are, it can show you what is exiting and interesting near your location. It provides you with interesting stories, history of Seville, music, pictures and information. On screen and over the headphones.

CityShow tells you what you are seeing, as well as what is around the corner from you, so you don't miss something that you might want to see. This gives you an incredible freedom to go where and when you want without waiting for others in a group.

Devices must be returned to the exact point where they were rented, but the GPS will guide you back to where you started your tour. More info and examples on http://www.sightseeing-in-seville-spain.com.
