The Akihabara News photo below of the Vitas DM-750 with 7" touchscreen shows us how it looks like today in South Korea.
As the Korean market for modern electronics is always two to three years ahead of the North American and European markets, we will see this in our GPS car navigation devices in two to three years from now (June 2006).
It seems that TeleAtlas and Navteq, the principal map makers for the European and Northern American markets, still have a lot of work to do.
