March 17, 2006 13:16 - Stalag 1A and its inmates

After WW II the German POW camp Stalag 1A disappeared, as the northern part of Ostpreussen became Russian military territory. For almost 50 years nobody has ever been allowed to return there. No wonder that a lot of questions of those who try to find out more details about this camp and its prisoners are about "Where was it exactly?" We have put it on the map again with GPS co-ordinates.
